Braden (Brady) Gorman and Charbel (C.J.) Najem have been named Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students (top 2.5%) who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
Brady and C.J. are both seniors at Whitinsville Christian School and members of the National Honor Society. Brady’s extracurricular activities include soccer, basketball, tennis, DECA, and class officer. CJ is an accomplished track athlete, a leader of HOSA, and a talented actor. The official letters from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) will be presented at the WCHS Award Ceremony in the spring. “I am so pleased to recognize the dedication, hard work, and intellectual prowess of these two students,” said Tammi Gorman, WCS High School Principal. “This prestigious recognition is a testament to their commitment to academic excellence as well as to their character.
